From the last week of September to October 31, we offer woodcock hunts in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region and the Laurentians region, located northwest of Montreal. The daily bag limit is 4 woodcock for non-residents and 8 for Quebec residents.

From September 25 to the last week of October, we offer woodcock hunts in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. To ensure we don't put pressure on local breeding birds, we only hunt during the migration period. We hunt on exclusive properties as well as the renowned Ashuapmushuan reserve, which is truly productive for small game. An experienced guide will be paired with you to help you work your dog in the best possible way on every cover. During this period, we can get up to 15 flushes per cover. We can also find plenty of opportunities for grouse and hare in the same type of habitat where we hunt woodcock. If you don't have your own pointing dog, or if it can't make the trip with you, all of our guides have their own well-trained upland bird dogs. We use German Shorthaired Pointers or English Setters.

It's important to be in good physical condition for this activity, since hunting these species requires long periods of walking over often uneven terrain.
