From sea ducks to St. Lawrence River diving ducks or on agricultural and developed lands, we offer the best duck hunting experience in the province of Quebec.
Targeting mallards, American black ducks, northern pintails and teal in the early season (September 15th to January 30th), we hunt by boat in fields, flooded woods or marshes that we develop to create a perfect habitat for birds. We hunt in the regions of Saguenay-Lac-St. Jean, Mauricie, Centre-du-Québec, the Lac-St. Pierre sector, and in further southwest areas of the St. Lawrence River. The daily limit is 6 birds per hunter. A typical hunt lasts half a day (1/2 day) and generally takes place in the morning. However, it is possible to hunt in the afternoon according to the plan you pre-established when booking.
From mid-September to November 10, we specifically target sea ducks and we hunt in the Upper North Shore, on the St. Lawrence River. Hunting from a boat or a layout boat places you in a unique landscape. The most common species are the common eider (S.M. dresseri), surf scoter, yellow-billed scoter, white-winged scoter, long-tailed duck, and common goldeneye. The scenery is breathtaking. It is common to observe whales and seals during our excursions on the river. This type of experience adds a touch of exoticism to the harsh and larger-than-life landscape that the North Shore has to offer! The birds are fast and robust, the shots are very sporty without the added difficulty of shooting from the water which is constantly moving! Sea duck hunting is without a doubt the ultimate adventure that every waterfowler should experience!
